Gladiators saw their profession as a kind of brotherhood, and they took care of each other in case the worst happened; death in the arena. Gladiators could join a “collegia”, which was a type of union that paid out money for the fallen gladiator’s funeral expenses, and money to take care of his wife and children (yes, gladiators sometimes had families).
By joining the Gladiator Collegia, you’ll be a respected member of our brotherhood. You will receive special discounts on products, and inside information about new product offerings before they are available to the general public.
